On moving back to India, Meeta S. Gupta searched for ‘open & explorative’, natural & safe toys for her little boys, of the type she used to get in the US. She found very little & what she found was very expensive. She decided to draw on her education and training at IIT, Harvard, and the billion dollar corporations she had worked for, to solve the problem by creating unique toy designs that allow children to imagine & discover while being fun and safe. This led to the birth of Shumee, which aims to bring back the joy of playing for children through the simple and engaging toys, the toys that adhere to the basics and are timeless.
